Visakhapatnam, April Flash Mail News publications : At a spiritual and intellectual gathering held at the Centre for Emotional Education Society, Visakhapatnam, the book “Non-Dual Light of Yeshua: From Jaina, Bouddha, Advaita & Sufi Perspective” was formally launched, emphasizing the contemporary relevance of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) in fostering interfaith understanding and inner transformation.The book was released by Fr. Dorathick Rajan, a Camaldolese Benedictine monk whose life and mission resonate deeply with the spirit of the work. Rooted in India’s traditions of Yoga, Siddha, and contemplative spirituality, and serving as Prior of Saccidananda Ashram (Shantivanam), he represents a living bridge between Indic wisdom and Christian monastic thought. His presence at the launch symbolized the very dialogue the book seeks to establish.Speaking on the occasion, Fr. Dorathick Rajan observed that Indian Knowledge Systems offer a profound experiential pathway where the divine is not merely believed but realized. This book beautifully presents Yeshua through that inner lens of non-duality, where love, awareness, and unity converge beyond religious identities.” He further emphasized that such works are essential in today’s world to cultivate inner peace as the foundation for global harmony.Authored by Prof. Dr. Challa Krishnaveer Abhishek, Vice-President of EQ4Peace Worldwide Inc., USA, and Smt. Vankayala Sruthi Sarani, noted Carnatic vocalist, the book explores the figure of Yeshua (Jesus Christ) through the philosophical frameworks of Jainism, Buddhism, Advaita Vedanta, and Sufi mysticism, placing it firmly within the intellectual and experiential traditions of IKS.In his address, Prof. Dr. Abhishek stated that this work is an attempt to reinterpret Christ Consciousness through the lens of Indian Knowledge Systems, where non-duality, compassion, and self-realization form the core. It is about digesting the deeper truths of life and transforming them into wisdom that leads to inner freedom. Sri mathi Sruthi Sarani highlighted the experiential and artistic dimension of the work, noting that “Indian Knowledge Systems have always integrated music, devotion, and philosophy. This book reflects that harmony, presenting spirituality not just as thought, but as lived and felt experience. The book draws upon foundational IKS concepts such as Advaita (non-duality), Ahimsa (non-violence), Dhyana (meditation), and Anubhava (direct experience), offering readers a holistic framework for understanding spirituality beyond doctrinal limitations. It underscores that the wisdom of India’s ancient traditions continues to provide meaningful insights for addressing modern psychological, emotional, and existential challenges.
